How to deal in 2020?💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭💭
I think we can all agree 2020 did not start off great, and continued to go downhill from there... But at last we are still here surviving somehow. How we get through these hard times is very important to how we move forward. Personally, I have to take a break from everything every other week👤 Maybe my methods might help one of you!!
1. UNPLUG
Get off social media and turn your phone off for a bit. Sometimes we run to our phones as an escape of reality or a source of entertainment. But you are really making yourself feel worse looking at people "happy" lives and comparing to your own.
2. UNWIND
Change into some comfortable clothes and get nice and cozy. Take a nice hot shower or bath while playing you favorite music. Treat yourself to something you've been craving. Don't let the world stop your self care!!!
3. GO FOR A WALK
Since quarantine happened, I know I have felt trapped in this repetitive cycle of: school, work, house then sleep. Getting a change of scenery, stepping away from everything and taking a breath of fresh air really helps clear my mind.
